The Cover Valet is an excellent quality cover lift, far superior to other hydraulic lifts in this price range.

Durable zinc plated, powder coat finish. Highest quality stainless steel hardware.
Mounts to edge of spa cabinet (side), directly to deck or to a spa top-rail (if applicable).
Requires only 6" (15 cm) of clearance on rear and 0 - 3" (7.5 cm) clearance on sides.
The compact design is great inside gazebos.
When cover is open, your spa cover doubles as a privacy wall.
5 year limited warranty. Shocks have a 1 year warranty.
Will the Cover Valet work on your hot tub?

Clearance required - Rear 6" (15 cm), Sides 3" (7.5 cm) - 0 side clearance is required if mounted to a top rail.
Will it work for In-Deck Spas? - Yes. It can be mounted directly to the deck if the deck is just slightly lower than the top of the acrylic (The bracket needs to be mounted at about the same height as if you were installing on the sides and needs to sit below the top of the acrylic.) Partially sunk in is okay when it is mounted to the upper spa side of the cabinet or to a spa top rail.
If your spa cabinet has rounded corners, the maximum corner radius is 10" (25 cm) - see how to measure the cabinet radius below. If you have a larger corner radius, you will also have to add the Extra Long Brackets.
It will not work on Octagon, Round or Hexagon shaped spa cabinets, unless deck mounted.
