The Gecko SSPA/MSPA-MP Temperature Sensor ⅜” Probe connects directly to the SSPA and MSPA spa packs via a 4 pin plug (only 3 wires are connected) and the metal sensor is then placed into the sensor housing on the side of the hot tub footwell.
When replacing always isolate the hot tub from the power source for safety. Leave the old sensor in place until ready to replace, doing this will guarantee that you will place the temp sensor into the correct connector on the board.
